Dr Bubó is an eagle owl who, after obtaining his medical degree of excellence, sets up his practice inside an oak tree, where he treats the sick inhabitants of the forest with the help of his assistant – the practice nurse – Nurse Ursula. The forest animals usually present with some serious psychological problem: the elephant suffers from an inferiority complex, the flea is megalomaniacal, the goose is hypochondriac, the deer is morbidly jealous, the pig is drunk, the hippo is morbidly gluttonous, etc. Bubo tries to deal with each of them, usually misunderstanding the problem to be solved. The pursuit of his psychological research and the way he dismisses it is the main humour of the series. Bubo also often tries to find his way in the field of law enforcement, alongside his old friend, Sergeant Hawk, convinced that crime has a psychological origin, theories that fail as much as his psychological work.   MADE WITH LOVE
